This is a little disingenuous. Almost every single pre-con ever made is bad out of the box if you just consistently remove the commander over and over again.

Out of the four it’s probably the second best. And it’s upgrade potentials are probably what would make it The best. enchantments are still the hardest permanent type outside of battles to deal with.

I decided to make the sub commander, the master of keys, my lead because I found that having a reliable flying beat stick if my enchantment plan doesn’t go to spec is very valuable. All the deck needs right now for me to turn it into an eight or nine deck is more fast mana and some more busted enchantments like humility.

Countering a commander stops the deck from functioning like it's supposed to?!? Crazy! No other commander deck is like that at all.

The deck works best when you stuff it with creatures that loot and surveil without spending mana to fill your GY while you dig for an Enchantment reanimation spell. Additionally, scaling the "big" enchantments closer to the 4-6 range means sometimes you don't get the full -4, but you can feasibly cast the spell in a pinch.

Starfield of Nyx is spiking right now for a reason.

It's not great out of the box, but it's easy to upgrade and really powerful when you do. Besides, when the comparative is the third or fourth Simic goodstuffs deck to come out in the last year? I feel like this is a refreshing take.

I don't think the decks that bad. Any deck looks bad if you use all your counter spells on them. And there's no reason you can't play cheap counter spells of your own in esper

OKAY, BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE MUSIC. Why do I hear banjo kazooie music being used so frequently lately? Did it become public domain? Or just royalty free? Not complaining. Just curious. The banjo games are some of my all time favorites.

Imagine ruining someones fun like that to make a point. Also ive had something similar happen to me with the bello deck and because they countered my commander the person after me (who was really ahead) won after casting overwhelming stampede while playing a token deck

This deck is probably the most fun deck I've ever built. Life gain, flickering, graveyard recursion, stax, cheating stuff out, flying shenanigans, lots of tutoring and deck manipulation, locking the whole board with fear of sleep paralysis.. my pods quickly learned to target me. Aminatou is only one way to cheat stuff out and the deck has worked amazing for me with Aminatou being imprisoned in the moon/dark steal mutated. This guy has no idea what he's talking about.
