Great video - very informative. Thank you. Very helpful to know that you can lift the G6 up slightly to avoid hitting the muscle (in the case of skinnier individuals). I asked the Dexcom rep about this and they had no clue about it. Its so helpful to share these tips cause most of the time the best tips comes from people who use the product not from doctors or company reps. I am new to CGM and I've had very little help from my endo, diabetes educator and dexcom reps. I've learnt everything from your videos and forums. Thank you!

I was diagnosed as Diabetes Type 2 insulin dependent after falling into a diabetic comma a few months ago. After a lot of clinical testing and great patience on the part of my clinician and pharmacist I was put on metformin, and the insulins Novolog and Glargine plus Ozempic. I was also put on the Freestyle Libre 2 due to the erratic nature of my blood glucose. I am now enrolled in a program to scan all my major organs with one goal to determine if my pancreas is failing. The Freestyle Libre 2 has been a real game changer and thank you for your YouTube posts. In the US we are having a real problem with Ozempic and people using it as a weight-loss solution. Can you give some good advice about using Ozempic as a weight-loss solution versus keeping it solely as an insulin adjunct?

I get up to 50 points higher readings on Libre 3. Messes up my stats (eg. GMI % and time in range %). The size of the Libre 3 is great (smaller than a US quarter) but, the needle is much bigger than the Libre 2. So much so that it causes damage to my skin and leaves scars! Anyone else having these problems and have any suggestions?

Hi Tom, thanks again for your videos. Just wondering if you have ever tried a pre bolus for a can of soda like coke or sprite and tracked what it does to your sugars using a CGM. We know the initial sugar spike and later crash happens but was curious to learn if a timely pre bolus could stop the spike and prevent a later crash in blood sugars. I wonder if it can be done?

I have a question on Skingrip for Dexcom G7 - do you put it on instead of the provided overpatch? Or in addition to? I've had my G7 on for about 4 days and the provided overpatch is starting to peel. Not sure if I should take it off before I put on a skingrip or not?
