The art that is Jeff Sachs is to speak in a way that allows him to be a mainstream and elite influencer, while still pushing for progressive change (or possibly, if I'm the mark, to be a progressive influencer, while still holding the line for the elites).
Either way, it's impressive. It helps to be a really smart, really persuasive, highly credentialed academic, of course. But most of these types are either promoting their own pet ideas, something even less relevant to all of us.
