I love how people say “there are no good Qbs in this draft”. Here’s the reality. Most Qbs don’t pan out unless there’s a good coach there to develop him. Josh allen, Patrick mahomes, deshaun Watson, Lamar jackson all would’ve failed if they didn’t go to situations where they were able to develop. in this draft Malik Willis and Sam Howell could become franchise Qbs if they have good coaching. So say the giants or broncos hire a Brian dabboll, or Washington hired pep Hamilton. In that scenario one of these guys could become a franchise Qb and the pick would be worth it. Where the pick wouldn’t be worth it is if you’re Carolina and you’re Matt rhule just taking a Qb to save your job then he’s going to bust. At the end of the day the idea of a good or bad Qb class is a myth. It’s a crapshoot and it comes down to the individual Qb not the class and most importantly how you develop that Qb.

No way Willis should be the 1st QB. He is to raw, he is not a QB ready to start week 1. And with Lamars regression every year since thats Willis QB comparrison id be concered, all athletism, no promise of progression, only regression.

I have a feeling Carolina is going QB it’s either that or OL there is no other option, trade back and potentially miss out on talent? Eh Scott likes to trade but he is heavily emphasizing if you’re in the top 10 QB is a real possibility, I just pray the panthers can hit on this draft and thrive, the defense and special teams have improved just need us to take off this next year

I think Willis and Pickett are best QB in Draft Willis very underrated kinda reminds me of Daniel Jones where he had to carry a very BAD team in college, And Pickett I feel like will be another Kirk cousins very smart decision making QB and knows how set his protection so Willis and Pickett to me are the two QB that should be looked into it your going QB.

If so; the academic perspective, should develop and prepare the athletes post "college career", unfortunately this is quite the misnomer for the majority; who wants to win, no matter the intelligence and learning (getting a good transferable and quality education). If a player, is borderline in his classes, he/she will need to get the best tutors and support staff that will be very valuable, because they will work with the student's, to challenge them to work in the classroom as well. Not just give them a A grade or pass them because they are on the football team.

This draft reminds me of the Goff Wentz draft where these QBs got criminally pushed up. None of these guys are top talents.

Mel needs to stop sniffing glue. His Michigan pick for Jints has the mindset of the previous 3 regimes. DE, DE, DE! Enough of that BS! OLINE with both picks (Evan Neal #5/Tyler Linderbaum #7), or Pickett @ #5 & Evan Neal @ #7. Strengthen one weak side first with high picks.
