I was at 29 palms marine base 2002 when EFV was being tested there. Crazy hydraulic planes for water mode and extremely fast in water. German turbo diesel engines. Cut for budget. Fun fact, we tested a tan one and a green one. Green one in desert stayed 6 to 10 degrees hotter inside in desert sun. Everything was recorded

VBCI my beloved, finally a tech tree IFV for France.

Just a reminder that since the Hungarian subtree was first added over a year ago with only 4 unique vehicles, they still haven't added a single unique Hungarian vehicle since. They still have an incomplete air subtree missing 3 ranks and without featuring a single actually Hungarian aircraft. It seems Gaijin forgot about the Hungarian subtree the moment they released it.

The HQ-17 does NOT require any other vehicles to operate... its literally just a TOR-M2 but better and chinese

Japan getting the M44 before the US is just a slap in the face, maybe we're getting a different version I don't know but it's still annoying.

The 40mm on the VBCI has cased telescoped ammunition, bu they have similar ballistic to what we know of a 40mm ingame, so i wonder what they mean by 4x more powerful

About the VBCI mk2.
There are different variants of the VBCI T40. Most of them, with missile launchers on their sides, are based on the Piloctetes, featuring a crewless turret and CTA40 canon. They are the normal VCBI 2 hull.
The Mk2 uses a turret serviced from the EBRC jaguar, but crew less, the RTC40. It features the missile launcher on top aiming upwards with two missiles in the launcher, the same CTA40 canon, but it also has a LWR, which the others don’t. This VBCI also uses a new armor package bringing it to Stanag 6 level of protection from the front, so up to 30mm APFSDS

As a South African I was so sad to hear the ZA HVM would never be added...And when you said its name I freaked out. Man I hope this is legit and it comes in. Not only will it be a great support for the British tree but just amazing to see and have a South African missile SPAA.

Fun fact: the LVTP-7, now called AAVP7 is being replaced for real this time by the ACV (Amphibious Combat Vehicle) though it’s literally just an italian Iveco SuperAV adapted for USMC use
