Very good reporting! This is the first time that I've seen very good video or even photographic images of Tajikistan. It looks awesome and a mountain that is 5, 000m+ in altitude at the peak is certainly awesome. We can only hope that climate change does not cause too much difficulty there.

this was a terrible documentary. if the ice is melting, how are water levels going down? this didn't make me care at all about Tajikistan and didn't really explain any of the consequences of the melting ice

Other countries should ban cotton from CA countries, absolutely! For example, I have seen rice from Uzbekistan in a big bags in New York. Uzbekistan's' action cause more destruction to Aral Sea! Uzbekistan still did not upgrade their water irrigation system and they just don't care! The same goes toward Turkmenistan and it's canals. As well TJ, KG and KZ should upgrade their water irrigation systems! More advanced techs needed.
