There have been historical anti popes, and it surprises many to learn that Anti-Popes still exist in many forms today. Some Catholics, many with issues relating to Vatican II, reject Pope Francis as Pope, as with many of his successors. Many also reject Pope Francis and believe that Pope Benedict XVI never really resigned. While these theologies are quite fringe, and out o f the mainstream, what are they? There is absolutely no rule that says a pope cannot choose the name Peter. It's never been done, mostly out of respect to the apostle, but any future pope could choose the name Peter. There are no rules as to what name a pope can choose, or that a pope even has to choose a regnal name.

Hmm... I don't know about the Sedevacante and conlavist -ism theologies. They are mistaken though, broken from the vicar of Christ and successor of Saint Peter, as well as the cardinals.

Like the pope's (Pope of Rome to be specific) fellow peer sovereign entities in the international system, the most important key to power as a sovereign - whether a pope, a president, or a monarch) is peer recognition. Pope Francis at the Vatican City is far more secure in peer recognition as pope and an elected monarch (and thus a follow member of the exclusive club of sovereigns) than the President of Republic of China (Taiwan) or President of the Palestinian Authority. So, he won't be losing sleep over the rival claimants to the papal throne.

Nowhere in The Holy Bible does it say anything about Peter holding keys to Heaven and passing them on to ‘Popes’ and such. Also nowhere does it mention Purgatory or praying to Mary. Also The Holy Bible does not mention anything about Kings or Queens being heads of the church. God is a living God, pray directly to Him through Jesus Christ our Lords blood which was shed for all of us. Christ is King! All the kings, queens, popes, sultans are all nothing without the blood of Jesus, same with myself. Skip these weird worldly things. The Holy Spirit rules over all rules.
