Breast Cancer Awareness Month: What About Prevention?

Показать описание
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Neal Barnard talks about the “pinkwashing” trend and how the message of breast cancer awareness often doesn't address breast cancer prevention. A plant-based diet and a healthy lifestyle can help prevent breast cancer. Why are companies selling bacon, ham, and other junk food in the name of breast cancer awareness, when these very foods are linked to breast cancer? Learn more at PCRM.org.

The disconnect is real. It's so important to raise awareness of the link between nutrition and breast cancer; so many women suffer terribly simply because they did not know...
Thank you Dr. Barnard and your colleagues for all that you're doing to help people!!

You're the cutest Dr Barnard. Great information as always. I wish you would have a public debate with an animal eating proponent like Dr Kahn did recently. You are so knowledgable and sincere, I think you would kill it ! We know you're busy actually helping patients and all that, but still, we would love it :)

Although I agree with your facts and what you say, I think we should instead refocus our awareness and prevention months on much deadlier cancers, such as prostate, pancreatic, and brain cancer. In my opinion, focus on the deadliest and work your way down eventually
