I love it! My old guild is going to fresh start server. Cuz of exploits, game breakingexploits that crashed markets thzt actually never got resolved my guild and many other ppl decide to quit nw. But now i hear loud voices many of them are willing to come back only if those fresh servers will remain locked for older accounts/charachters from older servers.

I'm in a standstill now unfortunately I was looking forward to playing Brimstone Sands on a new char, and now I'm stuck with either playing on the 18th or waiting till the 2nd, but all honesty was looking forward to everyone playing fresh start on the 18th for the most part and experience a better and proper launch... sad boi hours

Are they hoping players play their old characters on the new big update.
Then when they hit a new high by then the fresh start server starts.
Then the players start a new character again? Cause the xp boost is for the older servers right now?
Why not just do it like the ptr but just a few days to a week till brimstone is unlocked?

Not gonna lie. Was pretty surprised Fresh Starts arent coming until after Brimstones. I think a lot of peeps thought it would be coming before. Especially with how it was announced. Oh well

I don't understand how so many of these forums posters don't understand.

These fresh start servers are for those of us who would not return to the game without them. We don't care if the date doesn't line up, or whatever the current player base hype is.

Its for the large chunk of the population who want to start new or come back in a clean server without all the old exploits/gold/etc.

The people crying on the forums are delusional.

By 6 months transfer does that mean the ability to leave the fresh start server and join a legacy server?

I want to do fresh start but I need that security that I can go to a legacy if it's all just hype.

Can someone explain whats advantage of Fresh start servers. When Brimstone sands comes out cant you just start new character and play, why would I wait for FRESH START what are advantages.. any info be great. Thanks

The only thing I am extremely concerned about is that for the next 6 months or so no new players will join the legacy servers (based on all the false information about dupes and exploits that is being spread), leaving those servers dry. I can't help it but feel that Fresh Start Servers are a huge slap in the face of all the players that have played the game religiously for the past year and deserve to play on a thriving world that consistently gets new players to join. Really tired of only seeing level 60s and literally having nobody in the lower to mid ranges, and now that we finally got more growth they take it away again. What a shame.

I'll probably play on the 2nd as a new character to level 25 and then just wait for the rest of the leveling experience to be completed before getting to 60. So not a big deal for me. I'll just play brimstones in the mean time on my legacy character

I think fresh start servers might explode based on the current buzz around the game and how so many people loved it for a couple weeks and then mass evacuated. I'm currently enjoying my fresh start server in WoW classic. Nobody wants to come back to a game and feel like they are a year or more behind.

I think buzz will only grow as players from launch hear good things about the game and start making big plans to return for a fresh start. Just like another commenter said... the Fresh Start servers aren't for current players... they are for returning and new players. I've already leveled 3 characters to max... the first as part of the initial rush and the other two trying to recapture that initial fun on new servers after the original server died. I have no problem starting a 4th character if its on a fresh start server where I won't be behind the ball and if that momentum from launch is there again.

p.s. - I know this will inevitably happen, but I actually wish current players would not move to fresh start and bring the the min/max/meta game over to dominate (aka ruin) a server as quickly as possible. Hopefully they have some of these territory ownership & management changes implemented before they launch the fresh start servers... in fact if they wait until after fresh start launches on these territory changes, I'll probably just give this fresh start thing a pass too.

Like all the news re the Fresh Start servers, but the start date is too late. Should have been either before Brimstones, or coincide with Brimstone. Now we'll either have to start Brimstone with a legacy character, or wait until the FS servers are launched ...

Honestly my whole hype and desire to play New world again is just dead now. october 2.... IT'S TOO LATE MAN. The only chance of new world's rebirth is thrown away like a cake by the developers themselves. What a joke

Wont be returning now. They should have released fresh start the same day. I thought AGS had improved but seems like they still make terrible decisions.
