Please bring in horses, mules and search dogs. Sometimes old school is best.

Thank you for covering this with such sensitivity. I live in Canton in Haywood county and hearing your neighbors scream as floodwaters carry them away is mind blowing. And there isnt anything you can do to help them! Ive never cried so much in my life!

That's the epitome of compassionate reporting. The damage is unfathomable - the mental and physiological toil is beyond comprehension 🙏 ❤.

The enormity of this damage tells us the recovery will take years not days not months.

So heartbreaking to see these numbers climbing. My heart and prayers go out to all effected. I know this is extremely hard for the people who are out searching too.

Thank you FOX weather for covering this horrific tragedy . I’m happy the utility trucks and tree workers and road crews are finally being able to get in there so those people can get the help they need.

This has to be the worst natural disaster ever. This will take months and years, not days or weeks. Some communities will not return, due to damaged infrastructure and inaccessibility. Stay strong.

This storm hit at night. So alot of people were sleeping..
I hope they search for near the river and under the wood piles. IT WAS VERY DARK SO PEOPLE COULD NOT SEE. ❤

This is the most real and authentic coverage I heard so far. I first hand was one stuck back in these small towns and just fleed and got home yesterday.

Why hasn't the Army been called out with all their resources.

That was the first time a reporter spoke from the heart rather than trying to grasp the shot. He felt what he said.

These anchors crack me up. The reporter talked about all the helicopters in the sky, then the anchor asked if he has seen or heard any helicopters in the sky. WTF
