For anyone who's curious of the audio in the end, Mr. Fitzherbert says to (most likely) Mr. Whale:

Damn, isn't it a guy with funky surname started with "F"?
I remember him being in "Eat you" animation, where he was trying to burn something down (8cide hotel, I guess? Does it have connection with "Ending" short, where evetything was burning and we can see Mr. Whale, who seems to be hated by F-guy?). Anyway, I firstly assumed he was trying to assault poor Lilith in "Eat you", so I would be happy if this wasn't a deal (she seems to deal with lot og things already...). Also, as I know, he caused problems to Bobby ("Copacabana"), which made him to ask for help from Sam and Roxanne ("Cannibal animal"). So I can see why Bobby ad sam are here. With Mr. Whale it's more interesting, since they both were captains, and one somehow ruined other's life.
So, I can see, number of people whose life was affected by F. increase, they can start a club now xd

But after all, it's a cool animation as always. Can't wait to watch all series/write all comic, because characters' relationship and backstories look awesome, I would like to dive down in it even more!

Something I noticed while rewatching this several times at 1 in the morning:
Fitzherbert seems to be an important villain in Mr. Whale, Bobby, and Samuel’s stories. Each of his different shadowy designs correlates to one of their stories. The one in the sailor’s uniform haunts Mr. Whale, he’s got his trauma with the boat and everything, and they show up alongside each other a lot. The shaded face and hat one is the villian of Bobby’s story, as seen mostly in the Copacabana video. The full black silhouette with the creepy face is the villian for Samuel. This shows up a little bit elsewhere I think but I can’t remember any examples right now. But I also think it’s hinted at with how the red strings are the most visible while that one’s on screen.
Hopefully I explained this in a way that makes sense. I’m very tired.

I’m late to this vid but I have a theory that after the shipwreck, Mr. Whale (Ernest) was going to be sentenced to prison, even tho it wasn’t actually his fault. I think Fitzherbert had something to do with the wreck it and got away with it, but felt a bit guilty(?) for Mr. Whale and since he has connections w 8iside hotel, found a way for Whale to stay there instead. The reason I think this is bc at the end of the vid Fitzherbert says “I saved you from being isolated in prison, Ernest”.
Anyway I think the biggest mystery of all was whoever was like hey I wanna go on a cruise right after ww2 that’ll end well!!!

Also I just found this channel like a couple days ago and I’m so invested already and the animation is sick wowow
