Movie Review: 1917

I finally got to see the much anticipated 1917 movie!! Who would think that a story about two British soldiers delivering a message would be so exciting? Just thinking about the film makes my heart start pounding all over again. It is NOT your typical war documentary. In this review, I will share my thoughts and reactions to the film. You can't pass up this realistic, shocking, nerve-racking World War One viewing experience!

You noticed the film begins on April 6, 1917, the same day that Congress Declared War on Imperial Germany. I thought I was the only nerd in the theater who caught that.

Nice intro! It caught me off guard, with both the marvelous voice and the bomb I agreed with the thriller/scary movie vibe. I kept expecting something to happen, so I was definitely on the edge of my seat throughout the film. I also enjoyed the Wayfaring Stranger as well although it's weird that the Brits would be singing an American song. Enjoyed your review!
