This is my language, Frisian, I grew up only speaking Frisian, i learned Dutch when i was 5, when my family moved to Noord Holland in 1973. This song was a big hit in the 90-s, i loved it then, i still love it. My friends where amazed i could sing it word by word, most of them could not understand what it was about. Great memories. De Kast made a lot of Frisian songs.... but this song, was something special. Thanx Highly, Thanx for the translator too!! 💜💜🌹🌹

Oh boy you got a jewel up here. " Because of the Dutch audience ". as mentioned below this song is frisian and probably the only song that the Dutch can sing without knowing the language. So imagine, its you out there in the audience singing every word correctly without knowing a single word you are singing, that is what happens right here. For me a frisian, a big WOW moment.
