T17 Maps Suck

I don't hate them being unmodifiable, but if they're going that route the mods need to be way, way more reasonable. Like 75% of the ones I've found in SSF are just not doable for my build. Having something like "no regen" is fine in a modifiable map, but if you're going to make it unmodifiable it needs to be something like 30% less regen or any other reasonable number. The fact that most T17s just have a fully bricking mod on them is silly.

T17 Abomination boss with extra proj is some of the most insane shit i've ever seen. Screen absolutely filled with exploding projectiles. I felt like I was having a fever dream in hell.

Hard agree. I would add to that: on death effects maaaan, i swear monsters usually don't even hit you but then they spawn 28263636 different orbs that stay on the ground for 5 seconds

GGG could at least make them rollable with chaos orbs, so people cant farm them white, which they probably dont want since they made them unmodifiable, but you can at least do something to get a non-bricked map that you either trade or vendor.

Part of the issue, which is not fixed in the patch notes is atlas affecting it as you mentioned. If you aren't fully specd into quant and mod effect, you are missing out on a lot but the mods just get so crazy when you have close to 100% increased effect of mods. Cleared one with over 200% quant and got lucky ropped 3 fragments

outside of fortress, all the other map bosses have things that I like more then even ubers, its such a shame that the bosses are either completely free by playing the filter game on the trade website, or 30 chaos for some immortal dogshit build to do

Since I heard T17s were suppose to be a bridge between T16 and ubers, I started this league with the intention of doing all T17s in SSF. Sad to hear this, but maybe they'll make a mid league change

Do i understand it correctly that your atlas nodes work on t17 maps? Can masters spawn (niko buffs) or smugglers stashes (Huck buff/Aura) AND shrines? Seems like nice future gauntlet cheese

they should make the mods roll like white maps, but pump the base stats of everything inside, this way the variance wont be as wild and the mod values wont get so high that they can brick whole builds.

They should make these maps only rare, you can't scour them or run them magic, but should still be modifiable with a minimum amount of mods so you can't just scour down.
