"what can you say"...Is exactly what I think each and every time I listen to PTX. Jesus.

I am glad someone got the message, His birth and His resurrection.

Fun fact: If you play this in your car and crank it up, Avi's voice is deep enough to shake the frame, just like a regular bass line. I discovered this accidentally last week.

Really surprises me that the have not won a Grammy for this song.

This arrangement and sung to PERFECTION is transcendental. Hands down the best version of this song.

Fun Fact, this song was originally sung by Mark Lowry 1984 written by a fellow Gospel singer song writer Buddy Greene. Also, this setting was in the Batman Tv series back in the 60's.

I love the natural reverberation in the cave.
They used it beautifully.

I love when people give Kevin his flowers, his percussions and sounds really help make songs feel more full and help carry the song through. Also, thank you for sharing your reaction and not being shamed about the heartfelt reaction. Pentatonix have a way of evoking a lot of emotions

Scott, said they only had an hour to arrange this before having to film the video. Simple, yet very passionate.
It almost makes me cry because how absolutely beautiful this rendition is. It touches my Heart & Soul.
Thank you

Yes this is the best rendition of this song...beyond the powerful presentation..I was thankful you felt the message...
Mitch said it all when he sang.. "...that sleeping baby you are holding..is the Great I Am !..."
God bless you and may miracles be in your life...💚🙏💚...🌿🌿🌿

You're the first reactor I've heard that picked up on (or at least commented on) the the visual connection made by the light between Christmas and Easter. :)

This is the song that introduced me to PTX. I was addicted after this. Couldn't get enough. Absolutely love this one!!

The arrangements are generally by producer Ben Bram and the entire group, with each member giving their input of what they can do with their individual voices. Kevin is the best beatboxer in the world, but when he gets a chance to take the lead...even if it's brief...it's ALWAYS a highlight. While there are some PTX songs that I like better than others, I have yet to be disappointed by anything that they've done.

That beautiful cave was actually used in the original Batman tv series! Bronson Cave in Griffith Park. I just noticed for the first time on your reaction that they actually change the lighting partway through with a bright "angelic" light coming from the side, coinciding with an increased intensity, then at the end it was dimmed when the vocals had the final soft version of the chorus. Subtle nuances like that are what makes PTX stand out from everyone else.
