One of the funniest thing I've ever experienced since I've started making music videos. I've always been in love with harmony, especially vocal harmony so when I first heard the song it was straight love.
Performing a female choir song was quite challenging, so I had to sing it a whole tone below at 432 hz tuning, just for fun :).

I find the modulation part (when the 4 stompers come out) so crazy!!! It sounds more like an African song hahaha

Hope you enjoy

Translation:

A kaval is playing, mother,
up, down, mother, up, down, mother.
A kaval is playing mother,
up, down, mother, near the village.

I will go, mother, to see it,
to see it, mother, to hear it.

If it's someone from our village
I'll love him only for a short time,
If it's a foreigner (i.e. from another village)
I'll love him all my life.

This is a great presentation of a great folk song that I only recently discovered. There is so much great music around the world that most of us will never hear.

AWESOME, man! I've been totally digging on the Bulgarian choir for about 2 months. Just playing it over and over. You really brought a cool new light on this piece. Love the modulation and percussion interpretation. You the man, Luca.

Thank you for this very well made arrangement ! The choir version is amazing and what you did of it is really top notched with nice personal touches. I love the percussions you made as well as the dynamic variations and the rubato/speed variations. Very well balanced and well thought. Really awesome !

Amazing! It's very inspiring to hear a man sing a traditional female singing style. Makes me believe that I can try out similar songs too :)

Such rhythm, such musicality... The intonation is really nice, not sure if people that are not born and raised in balkans can feel this, but i certainly can feel this song in my soul.

Props to you Luca, and thank you for this masterpiece interpretation.

This should have 60 million views. I'm actually flabbergasted it only has 6k, for now...

You pronounced all the words correctly, nicely done. It's a very cool reimagining and interesting new harmonies and themes that you introduced. Of course it doesn't sound Bulgarian anymore, but it's a cool rendition nevertheless, good work.

Wow, you nailed it down perfectly! Great job! You really enriched the harmonics beyond the contemporary Bulgarian way of performing this pieces, combined with such sweet rhythmic arrangement. Beautiful! Please keep going! Will love to see more of these !

Ran across Kaval Sviri a few weeks ago, and this is my new favorite rendition. The percussion elements you added are new, but I think they fit really well, and add more depth to the piece!
