I miss my 91 vert. It was my 1st successful rotary rebuild after failing with a 12a back in the mid 90's. Also, be careful using dish soap on clear coat. It strips any waxes and polymers as its too much of a degresser.

I had a 86/87 6 port just seating until theother day.Decided to take it apart & rebuilt the whole thing.Find out the rear iron is not that good.Just a lil project to put it in an older mazda, let's see.

Love the video! My dad had a red FC just like that one with those BBS wheels when I was growing up. I loved that car, a lot of good memories in it. That car is what got me interested in rotaries originally. If ever given the chance I'd still like to have one. When the Rx8's came out I fell in love with the look of those though, and ended up pursuing owning one of them. If only they had put an REW in them... Take good care of that FC, I don't see many of those anymore. Especially with an interior that mint.

The e-brake would have probably got you off 3-wheel stance; putting drag on the 'free-wheel' evens out the drive axle power; it's an old 'stuck in the snow' trick.

That low coolant light just gave me Nam flashbacks of my old FC that had the water jackets blow, but I still drove it for months until i finally parted it out when I got my FB. x.x

Great video man! I was hoping that sucker was going to start up because I'm in a similar situation. My 85 with a series 4 turbo motor was sitting 13 years! Same I plan to get it running in the next couple of months but I'll at least drain my fuel and put some fresh in there. I know it's not seized because it spins by hand so hoping it starts as easy as yours.

I miss my white '91 vert, with Nissan R32 wheels, but I sold it to a buddy. He wrapped it around a light pole about three months later.
