Unfortunately this kinda mentality doesn't work anymore and hasn't worked ever since the start of the information age. Technology advances so fast that now once you've decided what to do for the future, technology changes and you have to adapt and learn a new set of skills.

They say that for when you are a teen to not worry about money not in your early 20s when you become 18 most 18 on up is expected to pay their own bills and try to learn more independence so that when you do move out and get bills you can manage money better. You need to start early paying for house so by time you are 30 life can be more relaxing so you arent stuck in you 60s stressing about being on social security only getting maybe 1000 to 1500 and paying on a house and car note etc.

Wouldnt say this is a good advice for people who are 15-18ish. Sometimes its better to see early on in life whats good for you instead of late. Plus these “self made” rich people mostly have some kind of backup that most of us dont have. So think and dont trust these people blindly…

I hate watch things like this. What about the people who had to heal from years of trauma? Substance abuse? Broken families? Everyone goes at their own pace, don’t put an age on when you have to do something.
