This video is so heartwarming. Lucy's first performance with a huge audience was remarkable . Only 13 years old. WOW!

What nobody on the "Voice" realised at the time, was they were all witnessing the birth of an international superstar. At just 20 years old, today Lucy has the world at her feet and it couldn't happen to a nicer young lady.

I remember watching this at the time. Lucy hooked me there and then. Been hooked ever since. I remember thinking I'd never heard a 13 year old to be that good. She was pitch perfect even then. And there was something about her that was so cute and appealing (as well as the that she would grow into a with her actions and later interactions with the judges. No wonder Chris Broom signed her there and then. What a it was just ££££££ all the way.

Lucy has had that amazing voice so early on and it just gets better n better, she is so mesmerizing with that gorgeous silky smooth tone and richness!

She sang this song again at about 18 and they show this 13 yr version on split screen while she sings Moon River beautifully about 5 yrs later. I thought you were going to talk about Andy Williams singing this (his signature) song on his variety show.

Hello Zooty, when the chairs turn, whoever turns the chair the singer then goes into that group each group are allowed so many artists 5 or 6 maybe, then they have a competion between each group singing different songs, then some singers are elemenated as the rounds go on, Lucy reached the semi- final before she was voted out. The show was the voice kids 2018, as we all know Lucy has gone onto greater things. take care Barbara..

After this, Lucy was signed, almost immediately, by Cavendish records.
Chris Broom, owner of the company, decided she will be the lead role of his musical " Rosie"

thanks for reacting to this. We all love Lucy's older stuff just because we can see how good she was at such a young age. Lucy's first video was when she was 9 and her second at 10. The latter I believe is on her You Tube channel. I have been following Lucy for a while so I tend to tear up when I see her older recordings/videos. We knew back then that there was something very special about this young lady. We just didn't know how special. I can get you a link to her first video if you would like. You should join the "Official Lucy Thomas Fan Club". You will get a lot more information and even inside information and we are a very tight group. But we tend to "Gush" a little.

Never saw the origional show, first time seeing Lucy was at the age of 14 performing'Run'on u-tube, as it was one of my favourite songs i listened to see how good it was!, i was impressed & since then i have followed Lucy's career emphatically, she is a superstar in the making, there are a # of very fine vocalists around at the moment, but to me Lucy has a magic ingredient i don't see in anyone else!.

Hi Zooty. I love this video. She had to decide between which team she wanted to be on and she chooses the guy. Went on to the semifinals where she lost out. I think that was probably a plus for her. I have heard tell that those shows are very subjective and political. Anyway she is on her way to stardom now. Thanks for the great review. Stay safe, healthy, and free.

Lucy was fantastic! Even at 14 years old, Lucy's voice was mature well beyond her years.
I firmly believe that if Lucy had sung "LISTEN" and "I'LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN" instead the songs she chose, Lucy would have blown away the competition and won.
"The Voice" is kind of different from the "Got Talent" and "X Factor" talent shows.
The first time I watched it, I was turned off by the judges having their backs to the performers.
But it turns out the judges are actually Coaches.
When the coaches turn their chairs around to face the performers, they are announcing their desire to coach that performer on their team for the remainder of the series.
I loved young Lucy's emotional shiver reaction when Danny Jones' chair turned.
I stand firmly that Lucy Thomas has the BEST VOICE IN THE WORLD! Don't ever stop reacting to Lucy Thomas!
But I just watched what has been called the best talent show audition ever and I believe it.
This performance is definitely worthy of your reaction.
