i loved this vlog ! i obviously like the face to face (or "in the moment") vlogging/talking but i mostly really enjoyed the "storytelling" parts, it was really nice to listen to and very poetic ! also this video is making me want to go back to nyc so so bad !! i'm so happy for you to experience that and also so happy that you're sharing these moments with us :)

so glad u made it to nyc!! haven't finished the video yet, but with regard to being overstimulating, i would say the city definitely can be but it's less so in residential/less touristy areas! i live on the upper west side and while my neighborhood certainly still has more going on than less dense cities, it's mainly families and older people and it's relatively peaceful. i love my green market sundays, just ambling through roosevelt park by the natural history museum! and of course you also get used to things being more noisy growing up here/living here

NYC has some of the best water too!! used to live in Amsterdam for the past year but now I moved back to San Diego

I got back from NYC in May. I've been to NYC 7 or 8 time and this time I walked from the Battery/Bowling Green to Pier 59 to the Empire State Building and back to the 30th St. I basically walked for 3 days non stop.
