Thank you Mel. Not many people understand family issues, to them family is everything. To me, its torture. The amount of times I braced myself smiling, cheerful, generous...to be met with coldness, disregard, & disparagement. Some outright snarky, some veiled in a joke. Many times I cried on the long drive home with my three children. These were my own sisters!! After years of feeling dread, I finally said "no more" & haven't been to one since. Yes we're related, but they are no family of mine.
