The federal reserve has to raise the terminal rate above the CPI for an extended period of time for the CPI to come down.
CPI numbers are higher than reported. Who really believes the CPI number isn’t currently being manipulated for political reasons?
A true CPI number has to count everything that effects the little guy, not just what you choose to count to get the number that you want.
