Did this 2 years ago on the wheels the previous owner curbed. Held up for 2 years, impressive! I'm gonna get new rims this summer and will be moving away from dip but it has served me well!

This is really helpful! Just yesterday I slid out on ice and snow and hit a curb with a great amount of impact, I was pretty disappointed on the look of the rim until I came across this video. 👍

I like how he describes everything I wanted to know about fixing my wheels .... cheers dude I'll probably watch this again later after I have been to the shop

I been dippin for a couple years now when do my biceps swell like yours

I scuffed my wheels (very similar to video wheel) the other night and was very upset with myself! Had the car for over a year and the car is still pristine! I watched several videos on how to fix the scuffs and got a lot of good ideas! It seems like they did WAY to much work, for such an easy job!
I simply got my 5 inch orbital sander (wish it was 3 but that's what I had). I didn't take of wheel and used 120 grit paper to sand it down, remove the visible scratches and make it even. I then used 60 grit paper to make it really smooth and it looks GREAT!
Now going to polish the slight blemishes with a buffer and maybe polishing compound?

Man I can't believe how simple Plasti-dip is to use! You guys are smart for getting in this business and growing from it and it from you. Well done man. Well done indeed.

I died when he said "if for some reason you ever want to go to the original damaged finish" 😂😂

freakin amazing....I am ordering your wheel products TODAY. I run a auto wholesale business and 9/10 used vehicles have blems on the wheels...and that stupid parts store paint is too expensive, coats rough, and looks fake. You have sold me on this my friend. Its so much easier to sell a car with nice factory wheels....impressive work and products bro. thank you.
noaht
Oh, of course it is a mustang wheel. Probably got curbed hitting some bystanders.

Have already replaced a wheel because of this problem, still have the wheel n a box . Looks like this will be a project I can try in the future, be easier with the tire off the rim to do ! Thanks and I'm saving the video too .

compared to all the other tutorials this has been by far the easiest one and I'm kind of new to this I just recently put a pair of 17 inch black painted Alloys with a chrome finish on my Kia Forte I need to know anything and everything to know how to preserve them
mangogoblin
Remember folks, If you dip new wheels and then curb the wheel. the dip will reduce the damage from the curb since it is layers on top of the clean original finish.
