Nifty ended the previous trade session 360.6 points below its recent record high of 25,078.30.
Weak global cues along with geopolitical uncertainties took every global market down with it on Friday.
GIFT Nifty is indicating a sharply lower start for Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex today. In the previous trade session, Nifty 50 closed at 24,717.70, while Sensex ended at 80,981.95.
Bharti Airtel, Bharti Hexacom, ONGC, Honeywell Automation, Deepak Nitrite, Devyani International, Marico are among the stocks that will report their quarterly earnings today.
