I think this game was very indicative of both teams. Pep's team was absolutely brilliant collectively and Messi was a difference maker but not relied on. This was indicated by Messi's goals being added onto three others, while Pep's team held the ball better throughout. For Valverde's team, though, when it comes to attacking, it is driven mainly through the influence of Messi. Messi picks up the ball, Messi dribbles past defenders, Messi assists, Messi scores. Neymar leaving and Suarez's dip in form (ending a couple of weeks ago) put pressure on Messi to burden most of that attacking responsibility. Still, the last goal emphasizes how this is changing with both Suarez's and Dembele's form getting better, as these two combined for that final goal for Valverde's team.

Good vid but I feel that on Pep's Barcelona Messi should've been 98 rated as when Pep reigned Barcelona, Messi was in his prime pretty much.
