One of my favorite things about this series is how you really do feel and understand the weight of characters' actions and the chaos that ensues after major news headlines such as this. One Piece is less about the fights, and more about the message that those fights send

You know Sakazuki has been fleet admiral for a little under 2 years now right? He says he won't let the pirates have their way. Yet... CP0 does deals with Kaido. Kaido and Big Mom literally have their own islands. Blackbeard is on an island filled with pretty much only outlaws. Pretty much all the Impel Down escapees were under the umbrella of Buggy D. Clown who became a warlord. Crocodile is with Daz Bones and no one is going after him successfully. The Whitebeard Remnants are just chillin. Like... for someone who has such a distaste for pirates he sure is letting all of them get away with anything. Hell... the worst part is, Luffy is doing a better job than the Navy half the time. Doflamingo technically should have had his title stripped but didn't become of Sugar's Hobby Hobby fruit turning all the inspectors and agents to toys but Luffy fixed it. The WG is allied with Fishman island and thus should have protected it from Hordy Jones but Luffy fixed it. Ceasar Clown wasn't allowed on Punk Hazard but Luffy fixed it.

Also I know that's how the One Piece plot works, I'm just saying the dude is honestly worse than Sengoku who also didn't fight with the emperors and stuff majority of the time.

Hahaha, Bartolomeo said how cool Luffy was to increase his reputation, but I think Cavendish just said the truth or exagerated so everyone knows he is part of one very popular pirate crew party.

Once Luffy overthrows Kaido, Luffy will 100% secure his emperor spot, and should have at least a 4 billion bounty. I cant wait to see everyone's reaction to that. Being a 19yo and becoming an emperor in about 2 years is quite the feat
