Bedrock/pocket is why it is hard to build, no tools at all

Graph paper and Legos are my go-to "tools" on the rare occasion I want to build something other than redstone/farms.

Don't get demotivated if you can't build large builds like them
Its there job so ofcourse they have to make it large and fully detailed

That castle in the end looks amazing. I totally want to build an end base myself someday, but it's such a hassle to make it work properly. Gotta do all the ender dragon slaying we might want before building it after all. At least enough to unlock all the portals.

You can also make frames and outlines before you start building to get a sense of how it’ll look. Bright colors like pink or yellow concrete are the best in my opinion

i love the litematica example being a ship because the only time i’ve used it was building an fairly large sunken ship at the bottom of a 100 block deep lake. i staunchly refused to do trial and error building that far underwater, so i designed it in creative and then used the template. much easier.

Been doing a world project where i’m free handing an entire villager accessible fantasy city, minimal to no planning before hand just working off inspiration or concept art for my builds- on bedrock no less- and its a struggle. Building something great and then starting on a new, even greater project to realize they simply are too close or muddle something else up, that i now have to tear down or fix and ugh.. maybe one day the add-ons will catch up enough to make my life a little easier
