the problem with twitter for me since elon took over is the algorithm is just promoting what we wants, everytime I open I just see his own tweets they are promoted so heavily, I don't even see the content of people I follow ... Success on any social media needs to understand the algorithms, which are constantly changing.

It appears that Bluesky is kicking Twitter/Xs a$$. Elon is not popular.

I'm not sure why your video popped up in my feed, but I gave it a listen because I quit Twitter yesterday. I think you answered your own question, but can't see it because you like Elon. I too paid for the blue check because I wanted the ability to say as many words as I wanted. I don't have many followers because I never cared about followers, I don't have a business or product or anything. I had a fairly large group of people I interacted with. Then about 2 months ago? I was getting zero activity. I thought maybe it would help if I replied in threads. Again, no engagement. And I was saying stuff that always gets a reaction. I was basically on there talking to myself. I think if you put your bias aside, it is painfully obvious that Twitter censors/shadow bans or has some other type of system in place to hide certain people and comments, or highlight them. I also think their algorithm puts people who oppose you in your feed. For example, I'm a big lefty and atheist, yet my feed was mostly right-wingers and Christians. It's like their goal is to create conflict.
Now compare that to BlueSky...with less than 50 followers, I was getting more engagement than on Twitter, where I had followers in the hundreds. My feed is also full of people with similar views. It's like the app is suggesting people I might like to follow lol crazy concept, right? I think if you just pretended that Elon didn't own Twitter, you would notice how fishy it is.

As far as selling your product, I don't know what type of writing you do. My suggestion would be to write about things that BOTH sides would enjoy. That doubles your audience. And maybe I'm wrong here, but right-wingers don't strike me as big readers. After the election, right-wingers were shocked to learn China doesn't pay for the tariffs, the CUSTOMERS do. They also didn't realize the ACA and Obama Care were the same thing...This is very basic information that can be found with a 30 second Google search. So if the right-wingers are readers, they try really hard to not look like it...

Anyways, hope this helps. Good luck with your books!
