Command and Conquer Legions is truly AWFUL

Command and Conquer: Legions is the worst thing I've ever played... maybe ever? I'm not even dissapointed, this is just so bad that it's kind of a joke.

Those characters looks like they were straight out taken from Valorant or Apex Legend, it just feel off compared to what CnC is, aesthatically speaking...

I hope one day C&C will return to it's former glory but i think that's merely hopeful thinking.

The worst part of this? Seeing those RA2 assets remade in 3D in that Facebook post of like..a glimpse of what we *could* have with a proper RA2 remake...but falls just short cause...ya know shitty mobile graphics. Also that Mech minigame is straight up Vampire Survivors slapped into there in a sloppy way.

I'm surprised you haven't gone over it, but this game clearly just rips visuals - sometimes directly - from other properties. Examples I recognize include the GDI Riflemen model which is a Halo Spartan (specifically seems to be a Halo Reach-style Spartan, even using my favorite Kneepads and what I think might be the Recon helmet but others said it might be the Halo 4 Recruit helmet and that big bandolier of grenades I can't remember the name of) holding one of those saw-rifles from Gears of War, and that "Dominium" mech you showed off in the mech minigame thing seems like a very similar design to the "Colossus" from Halo Wars 2 (recognizable from the big ballistic shield on one arm, shoulder-mounted big cannon and forward-facing triangle shape of the upper torso section).

As for the lootboxes not being very enjoyable to open, I am certain I know why that is. See, No Strings Prd did a video on this game 9 months ago, and in that video he showed off what those lootboxes looked like at the time - they had a weirdly high-quality drop pod animation for them, and he noticed the same thing I did which was that the drop pod animation seemed to be a direct rip of the drop pod scene from Halo 2 Anniversary's campaign (the scene where Chief steps out of the pod, Cortana asks if he could be any louder and then he picks up a rocket launcher). Presumably, that was so brazen even they didn't think they could get away with it, so they removed it and thats why the lootboxes don't have any fanfare.

Man, what a mess 😁 Looks like some of the executives desperately wanted a bonus and went like "Hey, people like CnC, let's make a CnC game". And then threw it to some disorganized underfunded team that never played any CnC, and where the left hand didn't know what the right was doing.

the SECOND I saw actual gameplay in this video showing the base.. I instantly knew that it would be yet another of those dime a dozen "strategy" games where having bigger numbers is practically anything that matters, and all fights are only battle reports... where every server belongs to whoever paid the most money and his friends, and everyone else just gets repeatedly stomped on and farmed

Sounds like EA pulled a jj abrams and dumped the C&C wiki into a secptic tank and scooped out the bits that floated to the surface, all that's missing is a massive amount of lens flare and wonky camera angles.

I personally wasn't shocked it's bad whatsoever, i mean it's a mobile version of a beloved PC game from EA, and we all know about the Dungeon Keeper mobile game
