Here the ending isn't explained. I'm gonna explain it: So, they saved the ship and survived. They found a capsule in which hibernation is possible, but there is just 1 capsule. Jim tells Aurora she should go back to sleep, wake up after 90 years and live her life as she was supposed to. In the next scene, we see Jim drinking at Arthur's bar (we are thinking Aurora wasn't there and went back to sleep). Suddenly, Aurora comes to the bar and says:"Tuesday is my day with Arthur". She didn't go back to hibernation, she decided to spend her life with Jim on Avalon. After that, we go 90 years in the future. Jim and Aurora have died (of old age) and left a voice message to other passengers explaining what happened to them. Other passengers come to a room where Jim and Aurora have planted many trees, like a jungle/forest (it's symbolic because Jim planted a tree in the middle of the movie - it has its symbolism, but you're gonna get it while watching the movie).
I really enjoyed the ending - it was unexpected and beautiful!

There something that I don´t understand. I one of the trailers there was a scene where lots of passengers where in the observatory, but in the movie however, that scene wasn´t shown? How come? The only passengers that was shown was in the end of the movie when they arrived at Homestead II and a  few passengers walk through a door.  And they didn´t show at all what happened with Aurora and Jim? Did they die of old age? One would think that the passengers would have found their bodies aboard the ship.

I was expecting Jim and Aurora to have a child, they could’ve had a family and I guess that’s where things go weird as the kids would have to procreate when they get older, pretty unfair I guess to bring a kid into that environment.

I would bring the first scene of the movie to the last act. Being in suspense of not knowing what brought Jim out of sleep would make the scene more impactful

It is easy, they wake up few more trust worthy ship crewmen and take turns in hybernation. So the more people they awake the more hybernation they get.

I will explain it. There is nothing interesting towards the end. This film misses its marks so much that it becomes predictable.
