Danielle Volpe was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of 15. While medications helped, she experienced painful flare ups and a loss of independence. When she needed two surgeries, her family brought her to Englewood Health, where the team made her feel at home and the care she received inspired her to return as a nurse.
