Also Cuba has a national bus service just for tourist that's super cheap to use. just $26 to go from Havana to Santiago de Cuba. I used it to go all over the island from Vinales to Baracoa

Being a doctor in Cuba is like being a teacher ... a public service, not a place to get rich ... because everyone deserves healthcare and to be educated (Cuba also has one of the highest literacy rates in the world 👍🏽).

Great information. As a Canadian it is interesting to hear about the US restrictions. You are both so well spoken and present the information with such enthusiasm. Thank you for the tips.

My family are half Cuban and half Jamaican. But I do not really know my Cuban side, as my grandfather escaped from Cuba to Jamaica, where he met my grandmother. Watching this vlog by you both, made me want to visit Cuba sooner than I had originally anticipated. Although, I am a British citizen here, you provided us with a lot of useful nuggets of information. Will be sure to watch the actual vlog on the ground there. Love the videos both. Keep them coming :)

As a Canadian who has visited Cuba often (not the resorts) may I say your video is accurate and informative, as to the general information. We have it so easy. Our Canadian banks cards function there. All of cell phones companies have interchange with ETECSA. There are many farmers markets where fresh, mostly organic due to the lack of fertilizers and pesticides, fruits and vegetables are available. The tobacco farmers must sell their tobacco NOT the rolled cigars to the government. Good work. Cheers from Canada.

Great video! I went to Cuba (under “support the Cuban people). The first day, we were introduced to their “system”…we couldn’t buy water or snacks at a local store w/o the local gov’t card. We take so much for granted that it is truly an experience. Thks Chews!❤

Thank you for your videos about CUBA. I last visited Cuba in 2009 and before that in 1976. Both times by entering the country from Mexico and Canada. I agree wholeheartedly with your reminders to support the Cuban people. Cuba que linda es Cuba, que mas defiende de quiere mas que linda es Cuba!
