About the song:
Noah asked me to make this two days before releasing the game, and I of course managed to finish it before the day ended. Since I had to do it very quickly, I opted for the easy option of using instruments from another song to make it sound like a remix of that. In this case, I made it sound like the Game Over themes from Sonic 1 and 2, so I used the instruments from those. Thankfully for me, since I have the VGM from Triple Trouble, isolating the channels made it very easy to figure out what notes were playing, and I could even use Audacity to figure out their timing, which was surprisingly difficult. Once the notes were ready, I started moving things around to see if I should stick to just one instrument or more, and how to change from one to the other. I also started editing the instruments to see what frequencies could be highlighted, like in the case of the first main melody instument which had a low OP1 TL value, meaning it didn't have much high frequency range and felt too gravely, so I raised it. The bells at the end play in three channels with different stereo and tuning each, so that they surround you and can be told apart, while also adding to each other. The other instrument, the one from the original Sonic 1 Game Over that wobbles a lot, which also wobbles a lot here, is not actually supposed to wobble in the original Triple Trouble track, but how could I not make it wobble here if it's the same one as from Sonic 1. The bass didn't need much editing other than cleaning up the clipping it makes when notes are played with no pauses, which I fixed mostly by adding pauses but also by adjusting the ADSR. I think the most difficult part was figuring out the timing of the notes and then syncing it to the original to make sure it was right. Even then, this is a little bit longer than the original so I could add a little fade out at the end, which I think works well with the echo that the original also had.

I didn't credit myself in the video because I like to just credit the composers. If I were to credit myself as an arranger, every single video would have my name on it, which is really unnecessary since you can tell they're mine; I mean, they are on my own channel after all. Unlike the other remixes I made for the game, this one is pretty much just a regular cover like the ones I do on this channel normally. Nothing new was added in terms of composition, so no need to credit myself in the composers field.
