I was very disappointed in what she said about the original He-Man cartoon. If she had actually watched it, she would know that it was full of very strong female characters who were essential to the story.

Not Sarah’s fault but they destroyed Teela’s character. Definitely memorable in the negative sense.

She clearly never watched the show and only thought of the toys from the 80s. The show had the ladies doing plenty of things and even had entire episodes sometimes dedicated to them.

I'll always love Sarah for Buffy, but wow she should have done her homework before taking on the Teela role. The female characters in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe were more fleshed out than most of the males, with detailed backstories and roles that were integral to the plot. Queen Marlena was an astronaut from Earth who kept her son's secret that he was really He-Man, Teela was the captain of the guard, a fierce warrior and the best pilot in the city of Eternos, the Sorceress was the most powerful entity on the whole of Eternia and Evil-Lyn was always two steps ahead of Skeletor, and behind many of the evil warriors' most dastardly plots.

Watching Buffy as a teen (and many times more later 😁) gave me the strength to fight through all the adversity my life had to offer. I will watch anything Sarah Michelle Gellar has a part in.

Teela in Masters of the Universe: Revelation is a terrible character. Sarah, you made a bad choice.

Sarah Michelle Geller & Jennifer Love Hewitt. Queens of the 90s!

no justification for the disrespectful He-Man treatment...he was created specifically for the boys audience and was a major success and in 1985 She-Ra... a positive strong heroic female character created to appeal to the girls audience

like a fine wine, she looks better with age.

Just learned by watching this that she learned the spin twirl kick on Scooby Doo first in 2002 and then did it on Caleb in Buffy in 2003 for episode 7x22 Chosen.

So timely after binging Buffy nonstop for 6 weeks. 🥰 She still has the whitest teeth on earth! ✨

Watching Masters of the Universe Revelations was like watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer where Buffy is useless and Xander is the main hero.

Too many haters.
SMG did age well.
She is right about He-Man and how it was a boys show.
The woman weren't as powerful as the men.
It's 2021, times have changed unfortunately.
Either embrace the change or get of the train.
The show is called Masters of the Universe not He-Man Masters of the Universe.
Enjoy it or hate it. Don't ruin it for others with your harsh opinions. Let the people decide for themselves.
