So, I wanted to illustrate with this video how Hecate has been with me my whole life. Even if I didn't realise it.

And for you - she may have done the same! Or any other deity for that matter.

Some of my obsessions when younger were, wolves, vampyres, werewolves, tigers, cereberus, chimera, dragons, snakes. I was obsessed with Goddess Bast and the God Anubis, as well as the greenman, and triple moon Goddess and Medusa (she is tattooed on my arm) when i was a a teenager. Poetry and music has been my soothing point for my soul. Reading, learning, and teaching fills my heart with joy.

I agree, Aphrodite always appeared to me as Ariel when I was a child. My childhood was so lonely and I always loved Ariel.

When I was a litte child I was obsessed with the book "The Mists Of Avalon" in which the main divinity is the Triple Goddess. I was obsessed with Morgana from the TV show Merlin who is a witch and the last high priestess of the Goddess. I grew up watching Charmed, a story about three sisters witches. Three has always been my lucky number - I also have two older sisters. My all personality has always been about transformative energies, metamormphosis and change. I do shadow work since forever and I've always felt connected with the feminine energy, witchcraft and the Moon, even when I wasn't spiritual at all (I was a very skeptical person). Hecate has always been with me, I just didn't know lol. I painted her when I was a teenager and I didn't even know her name! She introduced herself to me in a more obvious way this year. I found a key (and I had no idea she was known for her keys) the same day I made my first ritual dedicated to her. I did it spontaneously, without even thinking. And it was crazy! Since then my life changed drastically.

I am forever grateful to Hecate.

Yes, I am new here but not a newbie. I'm also a daughter of Hacate. The biggest sign for me she was always there was; I love writing stories, and as a kid I wrote a short story for a class assignment in 8th grade it was about a girl who was a sort of grim reaper character essentially she was a psychopomp who guided the souls who had just passed, she was the main female character. Back then I didn't know anything about the gods or dieties other than the disney Hercules movie and Homer's Oddesy. But I was so into the dark and death and the creepy. I was a very odd compared to my peers not many kids liked the dark. But that was definitely Hecates influence on me even then. Now a days I see myself in Wanda Scarlet Witch and Dr. Strange. Both two sides of the same coin I feel. Both have gone to the darkness and worked with the dead and brought back the dead and manipulated time and space. Screams Hecate to me.😆

Sleeping Beauty was always my favorite Disney movie when I was little. I've also always been enamored by Maleficient, so as soon as you brought up the connection between her and Hekate, it was yet another sign. Thank you for sharing your experiences

As a teenager, raised in a conservative Christian home, when I rebelled it was "devil worship" not knowing anything about paganism at the time. I always felt guided and protected but nothing seemed quite a right fit. I used to ask, who are you, is it God or Satan and I always got a NO. Again not knowing any better, I was like, "Well who else is there?!" and it would drive me insane lol. Anyway I got thinking about how when something did manifest, it was either a dark shadow or more often a hooded shadow. This made me wonder, looking back if it was in fact Her(Hecate) all along. I definitely embraced the Dark Mother energy when presented to me but I think I mistook Hecate for Morrigan being that She came to me in a crow form. Anyway since working with Hecate lately, it is definitely the same energy and I'm fairly certain it has been Her all along. Great video and again the synchronicity of you coming out with this video not long after I was thinking about this is great. Again just confirming for me. Thank you again. 💙

This is what makes me so confused in life. I can't focus on just one part of myself. I feel like I'm a million. I love the sun, the moon, the night and the day, nature and technology, I love cooking, reading, listening to music, I love Jesus, I love Baalzebub (nothing more antagonistic). As a child I've always been interested in fairies and have been able to scry and see patterns and shapes in foliage. A few years ago I saw a beautiful woman with iridescent green skin and solid black eyes and hair of foliage during meditation. I believe she is one of my guides. I'm working on trying to connect with her again.

One of my first decks was the Faerie's Oracle and I repurchased it after I moved from my parents' home.

Goddess Bast is my mother goddess and she came to me via tbe character Catwoman. I've always had a strong connection with cats but Halle Berry's movie Catwoman (to this day has a special place in my heart) cause it was the first time Bast really showed herself to me via that film. And it was the first movie I saw in the United States when I came here from Japan.

As a kid i've always felt a presence with me, almost constantly for all my life until adolescence (even if i still do sometimes but now i do work with gods so) and i always tought for some reason that it was characters from cartoons i like.
For example, if i was into Sailor Moon at the time id think it was Chibiusa or usagi, then id obssess over another cartoon and change. Now i wonder who it was

As far back as i can remember, I've always had a fascination with the night and the moon.
My favourite colour and clothing for years was black leathers, and I've always had a spiritual connection to ghosts or demons.
It's safe to say that Hekate was biding her time before she called me.

Me as a kid i was into ghost vampires and werewolf and demon and devil stories my favourite movie was Nosferatu by FW Murnau
and in my teens it was ouja boards and contacting the spirit world of the Underworld i also loved dragons Bram Stoker's Dracula moonmins Scooby Doo and all things Underworldly otherworldly

I came up Maleficent and Once upon a time some years ago and fell in love. I was also thinking back in the days that maleficent has these Hecate vibes somehow. Amazing to hear that others feel that too.
