It's a common joke that Norwegians "hate" Sweden

There is a bit of a love-hate relationship between the Nordic countries.
Like between siblings.
Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland have a long history between them. Lots of battles and wars, but also unions of various kinds.

Being a dane, i know that we dont like the politics in USA, its to random, considered that it is counrty with so much power. And with so many problems within its own borders. Gun laws, poverty and racial issues etc.

I hope people know that the Norwegians naming Sweden just said that because of this never-ending joke-humor we have between ourselves. Calling each other dumb, probs because of sports or a history we never lived and now think is silly because we get along so well. I mean, there will be the rare exception because no country is perfect, but we love our Swedish brothers and sisters.

4:06 Yeah, that's a thing people do in the scandinavian countries... When there is something that happened long ago, we tend to exaggerate to the 100 year mark as we do not remember the exact amount of years ago. It's nothing but a figure of speech, don't take it seriously. xD
Oh, and also... When I clicked on this video, I immedietly anticipated someone saying "Sweden" xD It's just our thing... To hate on the neighbours, heck, we do it over here in Sweden as well. But you would definitely hear more swedes and danes hate on eachother than norwegians :P
But honestly... I am starting to think this hate and banter between us scandinavians is more of a safety net than anything, we know that we can hate eachother with no offence or hard feelings because in actuality, we are too afraid to offend others who are not from these parts. :) Then ofcourse there's indeed the historical conflicts, but they're so far gone by now. Logically, they would be a reference point, but I do not even think anyone could name every single conflict that has went on through the history because they're simply too many. :P

I'm from Norway, but a few years ago I travelled to Tunisia and i lived there for 2 years and I ended up gettting robbed twice, and that was not exactly the best time I had there, but still I wouldn't say that I hate Tunisia for that reason

Swede here I dislike the Russian government, the Chinese government and the American government because they all treat their people bad. As for Russians, chin sees people and American people I generally speaking don’t dislike
