'Was President Obama prosecuted for Killing US citizens with drones?': Ted Cruz asks Ex-AG Mukasey

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) questioned former AG Michael Mukasey about presidential immunity at the US Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Cruz targeted former President Barack Obama and asked Mukasey if Obama was prosecuted for killing US citizens with drones. He said, 'Since 2021, Democrats have weaponised the federal govt to target and destroy their political opponents.' Cruz added, 'It's no mistake that each indictment against President Trump has been brought by a Democrat — and after he announced he was running again'. 'By trying to jail and intimidate opposing candidates, Democrats seek to subvert the will of the American people,' Cruz further said.
