WHY ??? Top U.S. lawmaker objects to potential F-16 sale to Turkey

A top United States lawmaker has sent a letter of objection to the Pentagon over the potential sale of 40 Lockheed Martin F-16 jets to Turkey.

The letter, sent by Democratic Representative Jim Costa of California, says that the proposed sale could endanger the US-Turkey ties.

The Turkish Defense Ministry has asked the US to buy the jets in order to replace the country's aging fleet. But the lawmaker says that the jets would likely be used for Turkey's military expansion in the Middle East.

Most probably, because Turkey, pass the line of been Sirius state.
For more than 8 months, all they was doing was to threatening their NATO allie Greece about war .

Not to mention that, Turkey is still military occupayed the half almost of my country Cyprus, since 1974 .Trying to turn those occupayed areas, to a separate state .
