this was filmed in New York Jhope wrote this song and co produced the beats. it is a goodbye to army his fans he will be joining the military in south korea military is mandatory all of bts will be going.

Just a little backstory -- J Hope started as a street dancer, so he gave J. Cole a large portion of the track so he could dance to it during the music video. It's kind of a way for him to pay homage to his roots. He credits J. Cole as being his main inspiration, so this collaboration is super meaningful.

In my opinion, J-Hope could be talking about the world in general when he says “us” but he is mainly talking about the fans and rest of his brothers #BTS. This is his temporary farewell MV before he completes the rest of his solo projects then enlists into the military until 2025 followed by the rest of the group members when they are done with their solo projects this year.

..i sense J Hope's passion in doing this video...J Cole seems to be a legend in hip hop nowadays..both of them form a wonderful collaboration...this video is celestial, artistically speaking. J hope's dancing is also extraordinary..it reminds me of the film Dancing in the Rain with Gene Kelly. The meeting between the 2 worlds is amazingly enriching.

My apologizes from the backgrounds and opening up different areas of New York I mistakenly assumed they filmed in different countries, J-Hope’s “HOPE WORLD” inspiration came from COLE WORLD. Even though I watched the whole MV to the end, I dont remember ever seeing JHope & Cole handshake or meeting up at the end but knowing JHope 😅 Ill have to wait to watch the behind the scenes “making of” shoot sketch video.

To let you know this isn’t the first western artist that he or BTS has done, they have done many western artist collaborations both as a group and solo. *JHope has been dancing since he was ten years old even won a few dance competitions before being discovered as a hiphop street dancer for past 10 years, which is where the phrase “Hope on the Street” was created; if my memory serves me correctly.*
