Hi, thank you for this video, you made me realize even a little bit that Jesus really loves me, and I am really a mess, and I am like, how can He love someone like me? But He does, and it made me realize that I need a relationship with Him, so I have been praying to Him and He has been comforting me. And I am sometimes a little bit scared, but He fights my battles, and I don't have to do it alone. Please pray for me that my relationship with Jesus keeps growing better, and that I realize how much I really need Him, and that I see His love for me more and more. Thank you for this video

Hi Alexa!Thank you for this video. I would like to ask though, because i struggle to understand, how can i know for sure that i have a relationship with Him? I mean, i am trying to be better, i pray as much as i can, but when people say "relationship", i would expect it to be like a real relationship, where we speak to one another and feel His presence, etc. As of now, i have accepted His sacrifice in the cross for me and all of us, i know that only through Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross we can get to heaven after we die not through our works, and i act as if i believe (which means i try to deprive myself of sinful behaviors that i enjoy like, sex, weed, music i like but it's not holy, etc), because that's faith (i think because if not it would be knowledge so faith will no longer be required). Having said this, i can't help but feel like i'm missing something...like i'm not doing something right. Can you shed some light on this? (sorry if my english is not claer enough, not a native speaker)

If Christians really have a personal relationship with God through Jesus why do we need the bible to tell us about things like morality? If I have a REAL personal relationship with my Wife or Friend I don't need to read a book about them; I can simply ask them. Why do I have to go to the bible to tell me what God is thinking?

No, Jesus never said he wanted a personal relationship. He said to love is to follow him. The Muslims got this one right, the Catholics got this one right too. However they may had add something to Jesus commands.
Jesus commands is this:
Love God(which is to obey His commands, don't sacrifice morals)
Love yourself.
Love others as yourself.

Jesus Quotes:
1.)Jesus replies, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” He points to the disciples and says, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matt. 12:46-50)
2.)You are my friends if you do what I command. (John 15:14)
3.) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
