I have 2 stubborn budgies who won’t eat anything but seeds so I tried to combine both thin slices and putting those slices in water and feeding it to them and it helped!
Took a while? Yeah about almost half an hour of me trying to get them to try it but now they both like cucumbers 🥒 😊
+ they both aren’t fully tamed and I was able to get them to eat from my hand too!

My budgies love kale but when I give it to them, they bath in it and nibble the droplets off and then they wait a couple days until the kale has gone all dry and crispy and then they eat it. How strange. My female is always the first to try new veggies and then my male would just follow along. Your techniques are very useful and have used them a lot in the early days of me and my budgies. In the past they would always just want to eat their seeds and I found it hard teaching them to eat their greens but after about a year they had become more flexible. Thanks.

my budgies do not eat any kind of veggie except spinach ( a bit ), they are totally dependent on seed mix which makes me worried. I tried the method of removing seed mix for sometime and adding different types of fruits and veggies, they dint even taste the fruits . So i had to introduce the seed mix back. Now I would certainly try the first method as my birds are not fully tamed yet so I cant take them out of the cage
