Thank you sir for saying this "We are not the same people" Couldn't agree more. I have tried to explain this to many people.. All the time those "woke" come up with this line. And i always deny this. We might look same but our ethics, culture, knowledge, discipline etc are very different and in the end we are way better.

The Pakistanis who couldn't align with their own people too left to other countries in search of same ethos their ancestors shared with us. Alas they couldn't find it unless they bump into some Indian on foreign soils.

4) Aman ki asha ka tamasha -vs- "I planned Kargil"
5) Others saying, "India is a big power" -vs- pigistan saying, "hum atomi mulk hain."
6) heads of states touching Modi ji's feet -vs- licking boots of Jin ping-pong and others.
7) 2nd largest importer of petroleum -vs- no diesel to run trains, no ATF to fly aircraft
8) world largest network of electrified trains -vs- people pushing diesel locomotive with empty fuel tank.
9) Private airlines giving biggest aircraft purchase orders -vs- govt airline begging to not cease it's aircraft & auctioning it's foreign office.
10) World's 3rd largest economy, only big economy that is growing -vs- failed economy, failed state, declared by it's cabinet minister.
11) illiterate dadis calculate eclipses -vs- ministry of science adheres to flat earth.
12) well defined relations and roles -vs- Mamu hi chachu hain
13) 7 Janam ke fare -vs- halala
14) Celibacy (Brahmcharya) abstention leads to Moksh -vs- suicide vest leads to 24x7 erection.

The “we are the same people” line of thinking may have been partially valid until 1947, primarily from the cultural standpoint, and that too mainly for Punjab and Sind. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were always very different culturally from Punjab and Sind. The political divide was created and deepened after 1947 by ideological compulsions in Pakistan, by the dominance of their army, and by indoctrination against India through their education system. So yes, the two countries are not the same people anymore. Having said that, the general culture (food, music, language etc.) of West Punjab and Sind is still largely the same as that of most of North India. If a person from Delhi was to meet and have a casual conversation with a Lahori, he would find they have a lot in common in that sense... Cheers! 👍🏼

We are not the same people

Isn't that why they wanted to separate from us?

I feel we are genetically the same people. But culturally we are worlds apart. And unlike my naive wish this difference cannot be reconciled in a thousand years.

Hope I am wrong on the later..
