As a raw beginner I found it really helpful to start with the absolutely basic things like blowing.
Following on with tonguing, and then the tonguing for "Star of the County Down" was a really good progression.
These videos are a great resource. Thanks Bojan.

These are excellent tutorials for learning the tin whistle. I never knew how to play a slide before I watched Tutorial #4 and Tutorial #5 on Slides Techniques. Thank you for this amazing collection of lessons!

Thanks for these videos, they are really helping me in the beginning, because I have difficulty controlling the breath, sometimes I play well and sometimes the notes don't come out at all

What a fantastic resource these lessons are. They show you how to get results and also how not to do things, without using sound enhanced effects. Thank you.

Your videos are the clearest I have seen on beginning to learn to play the tin whistle. I have FINALLY learned to play the scales without squeaking! Thank you!

My name is Jane and have found your videos to be so easy and informative. I'm a senior and still a beginner, but with your beginning lessons, I can now do and practice, taps, rolls, slides etc... that i couldn't figure out before without, slowing down the videos and watch carefully the finger movements. I quit playing for that reason. I Love the short music tabs to practice on. Makes practicing fun and I'm having a blast now actually leaning and improving the more i practice. Thanks
Bojan and your site "learn tin whistle"))

Its a good solid introduction to learning the whistle, learning to play the first notes and an intro to the first basic scale of D, in fact this course of lesson for the whistle look to be perfect for the beginner.

Thanks for putting all these beginner playing videos together! It has been a great help . I love tin whistle but family reaponsibilities leave me with little time for me to explore my own artistic expressions . I can pick up mu whistle and just keep learning when i occasionally get a window! Much appreciated. I am considering buying yoir lofetime package offer from your website . It was on sale many months ago! I could not do it at that time! But i am ready for the next one offer should you do it again!

Do I always need to continously blow while playing or is blowing for every note also okay?

Thoroughly enjoying working at learning whistle. These videos take things in nice, manageable steps and are clear to follow, unlike some other tutorials I've seen. The website is really good with loads of tabs. Hope I eventually get good enough to need the improver course.
It would be nice to have a few videos in this series with backing tracks for early pieces, or maybe just a few tracks for download? Would be encouraging to be able to play along. I guess I'll make my own :)
Overall, thanks Bojan

My biggest issue is still getting a clear sound out when I'm going high in the second octave, got a hint for mastering that one? I started only 3ish weeks ago. Often times feels like I am either overshooting or undershooting the tone and it sounds either too shrill or a mix of octave 1 and 2.

Hi! Thank you for the lesson. I'm having trouble identifying what I'm doing wrong when the notes come out like in minute 1:33. At this point is more of a matter of luck if I get it wrong or not
