What a time to be alive to see Kendrick unite LA & the west coast and various gangs, sets etc. He had athletes, kids, families on that stage with gang members and it was all love and all unity. The culture needed it. I’m so glad I was able to witness it.

A lot of folks that are not from that don't understand how easy this shit could have went south. The amount of respect that was shown to dot was impeccable

The drake dissing is entertaining and all.. but can we show respect to how many gangs were up there on that stage just having a good time? No one got into fights and no deaths! Those gangs have history! Anyone of them could have went violent. I'm just impressed. If we can find a way to normalize that energy for black communities then we've literally solved one of our country's biggest problems

Leave it to TMZ to ask what this legendary moment in Hip Hop means for Drake...who gives a fck. It was bigger than Drake. Big Boy gave the perfect response, it wasn't an anti-Drake show, It was an ode to the city, a victory lap, a display of bars, true artistry and unification of community on SEVERAL layers. Big up Kendrick and as an East Coast native, I'm so happy for the West.

Kendrick Lamar brought everyone together. This was much bigger than a popcorn rapper. Much needed for the West Coast.❤❤

Who cares what it means for Drake, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC, THE PEOPLE, LOVE, AND HIP-HOP. The energy and love of CALIFORNIA.

I'm proud of Kendrick. Im proud of LA and the West Coast. Some of those members on stage have a lifetime of trauma, and they humbled themselves in the name of unity.

Thank 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Ppl keep talking about that was Drake’s funeral when it was CLEARLY bigger than Drake or the rap battle. That was for THE CULTURE. That was about Unity.
