SOLD for $3.3 Million // 1969 Dodge Hemi Daytona

Показать описание
This car is one of the incredibly desirable 22 Hemi Daytona 4-speeds produced, and it is also the most highly optioned Hemi Daytona known to exist.

The winning bid reached a hammer price of $3,000,000, resulting in a final sale price of $3,300,000, including the buyer's premium.

This example is very uniquely finished as well, repainted in correct F8 Dark Green Metallic with a black rear wing and a documented matching one-of-one C6G Green vinyl interior. In addition to its C16 console with Hurst shifter and dash layout with the 150 MPH speedometer and N85 Tic-Toc-Tach, this car came with G11 All-Tinted Glass, an R22 AM/8-track radio and P31 Power Windows for starters.

Add to this the S81 wood-grain steering wheel, A01 Light Group, G33 Remote left-hand mirror and C55 headrest bucket seats with the C62 six-way adjustable driver's seat, and this was truly a deluxe example of the Charger Daytona. The final touch was color-matched stamped steel wheels with bright hubcaps bearing the Fratzog logo, all wrapped up in redline tires.

Dodge will forever be known as king of muscle cars Chevy and ford wouldn’t be where they are today without dodge the dodge charger Daytona was the first car in history to reach 205MPH Bugatti wasn’t even on the same level as dodge back then

I used to have one of those. I used it as my hunting car. Real good at driving over plowed fields at high speeds.

I remember my dad taking both front A-pillar chrome and the rear wing off of one of these in a junkyard back in the early was just a 12 year old kid....He paid, believe it or not $75.00 for all of it.🤭🤭....He was gonna put them on his "70 Charger work car but my mother would have nothing of it.😭😭....So he put them up in his garage loft where they still are to this day.🤔🤔

The Superbird is cool,
But I’d rather have a

The Hemi and the

Yeah the auction fees are crazy. I’m sure a good accountant can deduct that cost under “business expense”. Add the tax issues with this as claiming the sale as income.
But I’m sure they claim a lot of business expenses, things like shipping to location, or fuel cost and employees cost, and vehicle and trailer costs for shipping. Got have a good accountant.

Its a damned shame the green new deal liberals are killing off the muscle car segment of the auto industry. Seems like only Ford is even trying at this point with the Mustangs. Thank you God we will still have Mecum to remind us of greater days.

Nuts, the buyer will never get that money back as there are very few peeps willing to pay this ridiculous amount in the first place. I only hope that the buyer is a philanthropist who gives back 10-20 times the price of this car to the community annually in form of medical aid to the poor for example. But then again he is probably a complete douche living in his billionaire bubble.
