I can tell, and I think most on here recognize your patriotism. But like you said, we cannot and must not conflate the constitution and Christ. The two do not go hand in hand. I pray with all my heart that I can be not only a disciple of the Lord, but also and maybe most importantly His bond servant. Father help me. Always a good reminder that the constitution is not THE kingdom (ah, dominionists). However, it is part of God's mandate for all men to establish and DO justice (and righteousness) in their lands (with an implicit expectation beginning in Eden to be faithful stewards of our respective gifts/charges.)

This election rather feels like an answer to many prayers - a reprieve from well deserved wrath for the many injustices and degenerative behaviors in this country, tbh. Hopefully we'll take this mercy as an opportunity to glorify the King, and not be like the unforgiving servant. May God grant wisdom of Christ to our leaders to build up justice, walk in righteousness, and be merciful to the downtrodden, so we might live in peace in our generation. In Jesus name

I pray that my political views never inform my faith. But I do feel strongly that my faith informs my political views. I honestly can't see how a Christian can look at what the two parties stand for and not easily see which is informed by Godly principals and which is informed by the flesh.

Stephanie, Shalom!.... Loved your "fireside chat" this 16th day of Nov. (I arrived home for the 3rd and last time, from VN on this day - Where, Oh WHERE, has the time... Gone?!? lol). Anyway... just wanted to Encourage you to STUDY the OT, more... Especially the Torah (first 5 books, as I'm sure you "Christmas" (for one), is Not a reason to celebrate anything.... it is a Pagan holiday from beginning to end, brought to "you" (re: all people) by the pagan leadership of the RCC in Rome... there is Nothing "Biblical" about "Christmas" in Any way, shape or form... and it certainly has Nothing to do with the birth of Yahshua ("Jesus"), who was Not born, even remotely close to Dec., let alone the 25th.

ALL of God's living word, is just as applicable "today" as it was when it was written... and that Includes the Torah.... especially so! God's word "is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever"!! (Heb.13:8). Yahshua ("Jesus"), said to STUDY His word, folks... that we might show ourselves approved, and never without Not to Just read it.

You (re; anyone) Cannot "Know" our Elohim, without studying the Torah in the and how He dealt with people and sin.... He has Not changed.

Today's "Christian church" (especially in the west) and it's "replacement" theology... is, an abomination before YHWH's throne, and the "church" is going to pay for it... dearly. It's all a lie, and a huge deception leading to false Redemtion... which leads to No salvation at the end of one's life.

STUDY, Matt.7:13-15.... it is Not talking about the "world" with it's reference to the "wide door and broad path"... it's talking about the deception of today's "Churches" and their false messages of STUDY, His word.. Starting in the OC/OT, and the Torah.... Your Eternity, depends on it! Shalom, Shalom.

I’ve been wrestling with this all year. I haven’t been able to articulate it until now. I love being an American too, but sometimes it feels like idolatry…🤷🏻. There’s another theory about Daniel 8 and the goat being NATO. I heard it from a man named Tom Stapleton and he places the USA as the prominent horn on the goat. I think he takes a bit too far in places, but it did get my attention.

Just exploring it anyway.

Hi Stephanie such a timely message. The American exceptionalism myth has been alive a long time. This or that "can't or won't" happen here because this is America. Yes we have been blessed and been used for God's purposes but Israel is the chosen nation. When they lost their way God disciplined them. America is deluded to think God will overlook our national sins because we are special. He who has been given much, much is required. Being American, Republican, conservative, etc...does NOT equal Christian. Even regular church attendance and lack of obvious egregious sins does NOT equal Christian. We are sinners in need of a Savior. The blood of Jesus was shed to give man a means of reconciliation to God. Realization of this truth, acceptance of His offer to exchange His life for ours, that we may live to God because of His death and submission to His will. This truth has been watered down to walking an aisle and giving lip service to this truth. Jesus didn't die for that, neither did all the martyrs, nor would any martyr believe that was a sufficient cause for which to be sacrificed. In the last year, after 42 years as a believer, I surrendered to the Lord. John 15:7-8 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you then you may ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. By this is My Father glorified that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciple. Obviously not meant in a name it, claim it way of greed but for God's glory. Your statement about bond servant hit me hard. I had forgotten that there was a greater level of devotion.

I have heard compelling messages that America is Mystery Babylon. I also have concerns about Trump as a Trojan horse. Of the candidates he is on the surface a better candidate. Certainly grateful for his recognition of Jerusalem as capitol of Israel. Saw a magazine cover of him from 35 years ago where he was wanting to be involved in Middle East peace process. I voted for him or actually against the Democrat option. I don't believe his rise to presidency was as organic or surprising as portrayed. My prayers to God confide my sanity remains in tact because of His Sovereignty. Blessings
