When Ronnie Dunn says "let the horses run" he is referring to the horse power of the engine in his truck when he is flying down the highway. "Do-si-do" is a movement in Square Dancing and is called out by the "caller" telling the partners what dance step is next.

When you're dancing... your boots scoot across the floor. It's a reference to dancing in a country bar(honky-tonk). It has a dance made specifically for the song... but you can do many dances to it. Line dancing is a lot of fun, and you don't have to be a good dancer to catch on. Especially if you stay in the middle. Every time you turn in the dance... there's someone in front of you, so you can watch the steps. 😊

Hi! Thank you both for your cool reactions. A Do-Si-Do is a Square Dancing move with a partner. The metal on the back of cowboy boots is called a spur. Of course there are a pair so they are called spurs. Spurs were used to “spur” or hurry a horse along to get them to gallop, poking the horse to keep moving.
