I left the USA in 2007, after finishing my service as an Officer in the Army, coming out of Iraq. That war was the 1st time that I sniffed out that something was horribly wrong as KBR and other US contractors were making a mint off the war and it dawned on me that this circle of corruption is the problem and why they made up false narratives to justify more wars. The rest of the world is growing sick of this game and now they are banding together against the USA - rightfully so.

I left the country since then (living in Argentina) and every time I come back its shocking. The decline is profound, the society is sick, the gov't is throughly corrupt doing the bidding of the donor class, and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Frankly, it's to the point that I think its beyond saving

I was actually born in Santa Monica. I've lived in the LA area basically my whole life. Everyone is in denial. The banksters are doing everything they can to avoid price discovery in real estate, aided and abetted by their pet politicians. Meanwhile homelessness and drugs are at all-time highs. I am quite sure that this doesn't end well.

I'm in Tucson and that is why I don't go out without carrying.

I first left the U.S. in 1998. I returned in 2002 and left again in 2010. I’ve lived abroad since then. I don’t recognize the U.S. when I go home given all the political, social, and economic changes.

What’s amazing to me is that many of the young people appear to be in favor of Marxist policies. For instance, I am a professor in the UAE. I have had many visiting students from the U.S. During discussions about geopolitics and cultural changes the American kids often express views that are sympathetic to socialism. The other kids (from the Arab world, Africa, East and Central Asia, and Western Europe) express great surprise! This has happened multiple times over the past 3-5 years.

I make over six figures finally and been working my whole life to get here and now I can't even afford the median house in my area. If I had a family I would need a spouse that makes good money to even afford kids. The fed res, bankers, and gov stole all the money from the middle class by printing. A lit of us are considering getting out the country before the titanic sinks. The only thing left for me here is a decent job but it's buying less and less.

"So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance. Left to themselves, like cattle turned loose upon the plains of Argentina, they had reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them, a sort of ancestral pattern...Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult." - 1984, George Orwell

We all see the sadness in his eyes for what America has become and know our own eyes look the same.

Great perspective. The decay of American society started in the 1990’s. I watched as midwestern towns became shells of there former self. 2008 was the nail in the coffin for many households. God help us.

Great meeting you at Limitless George. That was by far the highlight of that conference for me.

Also, I'm not responding "good" anymore when asked, "how are you doing?" Take care George!

They are creating a 90% peasantry class as was the case for hundreds of years. Historically a middle class didnt exist. You had the merchants class that served the ultra rich. But that was only a fraction of the population. Everyone else were peasants.

I saw all of this coming 10+ years ago. It seemed so very obvious to me. I always wondered why others couldn't see the train wreck coming.

Awesome video man. It must be crazy to come back to the country every few years and to see the changes taking place.

We are a country under judgement, the abortion, immorality, mutilating our children and on and on ….God will not be mocked. Thanks George, hope you get better !

Oxymoron here but It’s always sadly refreshing to hear George share his stories from traveling back to US. Even the most aware of us lose sight of how rapidly society has gone to trash, simply because we’re in the US every day.

George, good to have you back on YouTube. I agree with you, the U.S.A is falling apart. I live in North Jersey and the level of entitlement and selfishness people display is terrible.

On the other side, the level of drug use and theft is of the charts.

Not every teacher is a leader
And not every leader is a teacher
But a true leader is a teacher
and a true teacher helps you to become a responsible and independent individual.

It's interesting to see Gammon react to what we all see every day. Equally interesting to how numb we get to it.
