I have been raising small children for 25 years, before and during the pandemic and I have witnessed how it has emotionally impacted all pepole, especially the children. The mandates and fear pushed throughout it all has differently effected us all in a negative way. It's time for patience and healing all around. ✌

As far as I can tell, as a parent of a school-age kid, Oregon and its school districts haven't lifted a finger to help kids get back on track.

Yea, we can tell. I saw a spelling bee recently at my middle school. The kid that lost misspelled "Woman". He asked for a definition and they called him a bigot.
