Best to put stuff your dropping for other players in the blue suitcase at the stations or the red trunk at Nuka World. Drop bags can disappear over time. Containers will stay until the server is shut down for maintenance.

I drop high quality items all the time. A lot of the time just because I don't want to take up space in my Cache. Sometimes just because I have way too much of something. There's always someone out there that could need it more than I do.
That's one of the main reasons I love the 76 community; it's a real community where majority of players are just there to help others and look out for people.

I've dropped bloodie fixer's like that because i prefer 50crit and 25lessVats and BE 90RW, but it's good if you're looking just for the bloodie role.

Pro tip for anyone wanting to do this. Just sell it for caps to one of the vendors. The legendary I mean, it will pop up on multiple vendors for lower level players to buy at cost. Consumables should only be dropped this way or blue or red cased. Thx for reading enjoy the wasteland. God bless 🙏❤️

Sometimes i like to leave a random legendary item, 5 fusion cores, and 25 stimpacks at a train station. Id leave a message for everyone on the server letting them know i dropped good loot at a train station. Its usually the lower level players that end up fast traveling all over looking for the goods, if they are lucky they can get to it before the loot despawns

I drop what others might think is hi val all the time. If it doesn’t fit my build or play style, I’m not going to haul it around the map for no reason. I also leave “beginner bags” by vault 76. Scrap and useful stuff that I have tons of that new players will find useful.

I have gotten many, many fixers over the years. I dump most of them at train stations too. I am usually maxxed out so I can't sell them.

Ideally it should have as the first star bloodied, or I guess projectile +1 is also alright, if not its just a glorified Combat Rifle

Homie that was dropped as a freebie for whoever found it. Rolls aren’t even that good and they left it in front of the door.

Once you’ve got B2525’s or a bunch of other god rolls, something like that becomes “too nice to scrip, but too heavy to hold onto” so you drop it for the next guy.
